The Children’s Shelter (TCS) Training Department offers on-site training to employees and current TCS foster/adoptive parents. A monthly calendar of trainings is published by the 10th of each month for the following month. All training for employees and TCS foster/adoptive parents is at no cost for participants. Current employees and TCS foster/adoptive parents have the opportunity to sign up first for training sessions by submitting an RSVP.

The training staff of The Children’s Shelter offers the same high quality training to individuals and other community agencies at minimal cost. Refer to the list of topics and monthly training calendar. Individuals and others from community agencies may register for a class if space is available. Registration priority is given to current employees or TCS foster/adopt parents. Call (210) 212-2569 to inquire about vacancies in the training sessions and register for classes.
